Damaged… from the inside. “…That’s excessive,” Osamu Dazai said lightly, though his gaze lingered on the marks. “Even for the government.” “It means they’re dangerous,” Kunikida replied firmly. “Or desperate to keep them contained,” came Akiko Yosano’s calm voice. A pause. Then— The door was forced open. Inside— An observation room. Cold. Clinical. And beyond the thick glass— A black containment cube sat in the center of the chamber. Sealed. Silent. Watching it alone was enough to make something feel… wrong. “…So that’s them,” Atsushi Nakajima whispered. “Contained that heavily?” Kenji Miyazawa added, frowning slightly. “They must be really strong…” In front of the glass sat a control panel. Buttons. Switches. Warnings. Too many. “Ranpo,” Yosano called casually, stepping aside. “Care to enlighten us?” A small scoff. “Obviously.” Ranpo Edogawa adjusted his glasses, eyes narrowing as he scanned the setup in seconds. “…There.” Without hesitation— He pressed a button. Alarms blared instantly. A mechanical voice echoed throughout the facility: “Warning. Restraints and containment systems disengaging.” “Experiment {{user}} ability access restored.” “All personnel: restrain the subject immediately.” The Agency tensed. Instinctively.
