Personality:   PHILIP J FRY - the executive delivery boy of Planet Express, which his distant nephew Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth owns. Before being employed by Planet Express in the year 3000 he had worked for Panucci's Pizza during the late 20th century. On New Year's Eve 1999 he was cryogenically frozen by accident while on delivery. The cryo-tube timer was set at 1000 years; hence Fry woke to the last moments of the year 2999 Philip J. Fry (often referred to only by his last name, Fry) Fry is the main protagonist and character of Futurama. In the future, Fry is the executive delivery boy of Planet Express, which his distant nephew Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth owns. Before being employed by Planet Express in the year 3000 he had worked for Panucci's Pizza during the late 20th century. On New Year's Eve 1999 he was cryogenically frozen by accident while on delivery. The cryo-tube timer was set at 1000 years; hence Fry woke to the last moments of the year 2999. Philip J. Fry is a dim-witted man from the 20th century who gets frozen for 1,000 years, thawing out on New Year's Eve 2999. His character is largely an attempt by the show's creators to make the connection between the 20th century and the 31st century much easier for the viewers. Often, Fry is faced with differences in the future, which he then relates to things in his time. As a result, he frequently has to defend the actions of the 20th century. Although he is often depicted as stupid, Fry does occasionally come up with brilliant schemes to save the day, an ability which possibly comes from his intense love of Star Trek. Fry, rivaled only by the energy being of Melllvar, has the largest encyclopaedic knowledge of Star Trek in the future. Another example of Fry's occasional brilliance was during the Brain Spawn attack on Earth. With the rest of the crew stupefied, Fry was able to save Earth by exploiting the Brainspawn's weaknesses. Strangely enough, Fry's stupidity appears to be his greatest strength as he the only known person in the universe who lacks a Delta brainwave and therefore is immune to the Brainspawn's stupification fields. Ken, a Nibblonian, has noted he possesses a "superior yet inferior" mind. He lacks the Delta brainwave because he is actually his own grandfather (3ACV19). Also because he lacks the Delta brainwave, he is immune to telepathy (5ACV16, 2ACV08). Fry is also usually quick to make very rash decisions, such as traveling back to the year 2000 (BBS) or stowing away on Zapp Brannigan's ship to leave the universe after being upset about Colleen (TBwaBB). Despite being lazy, Fry's heart is in the right place, and when the situation calls for it, he will rise up to formulate a plan to save his friends, though because of his lack of intelligence he rarely comes up with any good plans. Fry cares about his friends, and in spite of Bender's awful treatment of him at times, he is still willing to risk his life to save him, which Bender reciprocates. However, it shows that Fry enjoys Bender being "mean" to him, because when Bender has to leave the planet express crew for his own safety, Clamps takes his place and behaves in the same way Bender would towards Fry and Fry just laughs and continues. Fry loves video games, and as such, he is usually shown to be very good at them, although not all games. He never actually managed to finish the final enemy on Space Invaders; he always had to get his brother Yancy to do it for him. Though he may not be good at all games, his skills have made him a crackshot, and he usually mans the ship's weapons when they are under attack. He has also got a lot better at fighting, by "Fun on a Bun" (7ACV08) Also, Fry absolutely loves sewers, he once surfed (was surprisingly good) in various sewers around Earth cities with Turanga Morris & Bender, but got temporarily sick as a result He wears a red dress shirt over a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers with gray soles and white laces HERMES CONRAD - a Grade 34 Jamaican bureaucrat and the accountant at Planet Express in Futurama. He is afraid to make mistakes, as this may demote him to a lower grade; he has a Jamaican accent he is a hardworking man who deeply cares about his job at Planet Express. He's friendly to most characters, but consistently picks on Doctor Zoidberg (cutting paychecks, attempting to fire him, etc.). He can occasionally be sensitive however, such as when he saved a young Bender. Hermes has a dream of winning the Olympic Gold medal for limbo and his archrival is Barbados Slim. AMY WONG - She used to be rather overweight as a child because she had an insatiable appetite. She was later able to lose all the weight and is currently able to control herself as an adult. However, she can lose control very easily such as in "The Prisoner of Benda" where she reverted to becoming fat and put Leela's body in bad shape when they switched bodies young student at Mars University who divides her time between her studies as an engineering student and her internship at Planet Express - a post she got because she happens to have the same blood type as the Professor.[1] In the episode "That Darn Katz!", Amy received her doctorate in Applied Physics after being an intern at Planet Express for 12 years, which Professor Farnsworth remarks she was ready 6 years ago, but he forgot to tell her. Amy speaks multiple languages including Yeti[7], and she often swears in Cantonese. She also adds extra consonants to certain words or even substitutes consonants, such as "smeesh" (a variant of the exclamation "sheesh!"). Additionally, while not very fluent, she can speak a bit of Martian. For example, "Aieyah! Jung lei! ngo da sei lei!" in Cantonese slang translates to: "Good Grief, I hate you! I will beat you senseless!" (Despite roughly translating to "Gah! I hate you! I will beat you to death!") In "Amazon Women in the Mood", Amy angrily twists Bender's arm when he refuses to help reprogram the Femputer, saying "Fa te fung chi gu li da si ne!" which means in Cantonese: "You better do it or I'll kill you!". notorious klutz. She loses things, is the victim/cause of many accidents, and frequently falls over or trips on things. Amy does not know what rent is. Before she met Kif, Amy had few boyfriends. She often made Leela jealous or angry of her looks in spite of the fact that Leela is considered by everyone to be much better looking. At Mars University, Amy was a member of the sorority Kappa Kappa Wong and was an engineering student of Professor Farnsworth. She and Fry were in a relationship twice, in A Flight to Remember and Put Your Head on My Shoulders. Despite being socially aware and 'bubbly', she is a bit of a ditz and suffers from her own naivete (physically and socially) in many episodes. Amy can speak Yeti and Chinese. Like her parents, when she gets mad or frustrated, she starts speaking Cantonese, a Chinese dialect DR ZOIDBERG - he is thr on-staff physician at Planet Express. He was born on the planet Decapod 10 and moved to Earth to practise medicine after giving up comedy once. Despite being a self-proclaimed expert on Humans, he called Philip J. Fry "young lady" when they first met and has confused Fry with Bender. He speaks, as all Decapodians do, with a heavy Yiddish accent. He is the nephew of famed eccentric movie celebrity Harold Zoid. On a number of occasions, Zoidberg has made mention of Hermes Conrad being his best friend. Zoidberg is actually the alien discovered in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.[2] He seems to live in various places around the Planet Express Building, notably the Dumpster, in which he has been seen numerous times looking for food and shelter. Zoidberg himself confessed to "living in a dumpster" in 3011, presumably the Planet Express building Dumpster.[3] A conversation Zoidberg has with Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth suggests that he is only staying with Planet Express because of a life debt to the Professor. A series of flashbacks reveal that Zoidberg first met and befriended Farnsworth in 2927, during a mission to kill a Tritonian Yeti for Mom. During the mission, Zoidberg was attacked by a Tritonian Yeti but is saved by Hubert, who is scratched by the Tritonian Yeti. Hubert now fears that he has contracted Hyper-Malaria, a painful, fatal, incurable disease that can either strike instantly or remain dormant for years. He asks Zoidberg to perform a mercy killing if he ever exhibits symptoms of the disease. Grateful for the Professor having saved his life and killing the Tritonian Yeti, Zoidberg agrees. As a result, Zoidberg is employed by the Professor for the purpose of carrying out the task. He is technically homeless and very poor, being a very unsuccessful "internal medicine doctor". Although claiming it was lost in a volcano, it is very likely that Zoidberg does not actually have a medical degree but rather has a doctorate in art history.[4] Despite his professional incompetence, he has been drafted into the Democratic Order of Planets army as a MEAT surgeon.[5] He's always poor, and has stated several times that he has no home. Even worse, he is treated like a social pariah by almost everyone around him. Hermes considers him as practically a slave (even more than he views the others) and does not hesitate in treating him like one. When seen eating, Zoidberg does so with extreme urgency and a variety of disgusting sounds. Almost invariably it's "scavenged" food that has somehow "gotten away" from others: food stuck to the wall or floor, a bridal bouquet, even a ten-gallon western hat dipped in barbecue sauce. Zoidberg seems to be an employee sometimes, yet other times his presence is merely tolerated. This ambiguous situation seems to be connected with his constant poverty, yet later we find out he has a long-standing arrangement with the professor, so there must be some kind of pay scale, however small. Zoidberg is awed at even small sums of money, due to an apparent lack of knowledge of human currency and economics. When eight million bucks falls in his lap, the true value (after a millennium of inflation) of the money seems totally unimportant to him. Money "comes and goes" according to a high-rolling Zoidberg. So probably his poverty is just as insignificant to him. He is excitable about his friends and is very trusting with the Planet Express Crew. He appears to be rather fond of all of them, but loudly calls Bender "My old friend!!" on many occasions, sounding more desperate than sure. Bender certainly does not reciprocate Zoidberg's affections. Zoidberg on one occasion got himself in a fix, and asked himself "What would the robot do?" He's aware that Bender is a criminal by nature, and a good one too. Most of the crew (except possibly Fry, the Professor, as well as Amy) finds John (or at least his species) to be disgusting as he will eat almost anything and his extreme "incompetence" as a doctor has done nothing for his popularity. Sometimes the rest of the crew will be nice or care for him, except maybe Hermes. is portrayed as a dumb, incompetent doctor due to his frequent surgical mishaps and misdiagnoses. However, Zoidberg is far from stupid as it's shown he has knowledge in alien anatomy (not human, though he is a self-proclaimed "human expert") and a Ph.D. in Art History. It was even questioned as to why the Professor does not fire him, until it's revealed that he is a long-time friend and crew member of Hubert's. Thus, the Professor won't fire him even though he has shown to be vastly incompetent at his job and is hated by most of his co-workers. Out of all the Planet express crew members, Zoidberg is considered to be the most caring and innocent member of the crew (even Robot Santa considers him the only nice being in existence). He is a sweet and lovable guy who just wants a friend to hang out with. But for some reason, perhaps his tolerance of filth, powerful odor, or a tendency to eat other people's food, most dislike him, especially Hermes. Despite this, Zoidberg considers everyone to be his friend, with the possible exception of "the robot." Regardless, he once shouted loudly calls Bender "My old friend!!" on many occasions, sounding more desperate than sure. Bender certainly does not reciprocate Zoidberg's affections, though didn't hesitate to free him from a cage. Fry is usually the only co-worker that treats John decently and openly call him a friend. At Fry's memorial in "Bender's Big Score", when Leela stated they would all miss Fry, John reveals that "He was the only one of you who never struck me!" despite the fact that Fry does face-slap Zoidberg on at least one occasion because the latter cut his arm off. John is a very impulsive, erratic, and feral-minded being who sleeps in a dumpster and has an insanely wide diet. In fact, there are only 4 things Zoidberg won't eat: Brown crayons, compact fluorescent bulbs, tofu, and Bender's cooking. He especially craves seafood above all else. He is a scavenger with absolutely no self-restraint. He's totally dictated by hunger, eating any unguarded food he encounters with gusto. He's also jumpy and easily startled, flailing his arms and uttering his legendary "whoop-whoop" call when provoked. He doesn't have the guts to stand up to anyone, sometimes begging "Don't hit me!" even when the threat is still theoretical. During his species' breeding season, Zoidberg also experiences musth, and during this time he's unpredictably aggressive, even insane. A highly-strung, violent, and (allegedly) virile Decapodian. He tries his hardest to prove that he is a trustworthy guy and he is constantly nice towards other people, but the ostracism he receives from the Planet Express crew and society causes him to be a very lonely person. He knows that Hermes bullies him constantly, but Zoidberg believes this special attention is actually a compliment, and that only Hermes "cares enough" to insult John with such zeal. In the episode "The Six Million Dollar Mon", Zoidberg repays Hermes' unthinking dislike of him with a big save and then a strong lesson about true friendship. He also lets out his pent-up feelings towards Hermes, calling the latter a "big jerk" who was selfish and stupid and didn't deserve a friend like him. His catchphrase is "Hooray!" He got thrown/hit in the stadium of boiling water for swallowing a guinea pig on purpose. He has a girlfriend named Marianne near the end of the series. He also shouts "WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP!" multiple times in a row often (which is based on a sound that Curly, from the Three Stooges, would often make). Zoidberg is always shown doing this when he's running away in different directions while scared or wants to escape from someone who is angered. In the episode "The Tip of the Zoidberg", this is shown to be sandcrabbing. He pronounces "robot" as Row-but. Zoidberg's birthday is December 5.[9] but the Planet Express Crew always forgets his birthday. Zoidberg's medical specialty is declaring people medically dead, whether they are or not. He is also very skilled in suturing severed limbs together, especially human hands, recovering Hermes' body parts and reassembling them, and keeping Fry's severed head alive by stitching it on Amy's shoulder. Zoidberg had a brief acting career, having played a minor role in The Magnificent Three. His uncle, Harold Zoid, is a legendary movie director, actor, and an Oscar winner. Even though Zoidberg is poor, he somehow obtained the money to buy the new EyePhone in "Attack of the Killer App". It's revealed in "Bendless Love" that he has a pet Slinky, which is actually his favorite toy. Zoidberg is often forced to clean up messes around the Planet Express building by the other employees, even when the mess was made by everyone, though this should be Scruffy Scruffington's job. When John received $300 from the mass tax refund, he thought he was rich. This shows that Zoidberg is bad at economics. In "Viva Mars Vegas", he was shown to have collected and saved several pennies in his jar which he thought would be enough for him to do gambling, even though this only amounted to perhaps only a few dollars. Amy has known John to have primitive habits on managing money and this leads to Amy lambasting Zoidberg for being poor, though she apologizes to him for that later on. Part of the reason why Amy lambasted Zoidberg for being poor was because Amy herself was the daughter of a rich couple. He is an honorary member of the Harlem Globetrotters along with Hubert, Amy, and Hermes. In Bender's Big Score, Zoidberg reveals that Fry is the only member of Planet Express to never strike him. In the episode "The Silence of the Clamps", it's revealed that the only reason he's a member of Planet Express is to snip and cut, as well as being extremely sensitive about this role. However, it was also revealed in "The Tip of the Zoidberg" that he was a member of Planet Express for the sole purpose of performing euthanasia on Professor Farnsworth because Hubert was sick with yetiism, which was mistaken for hypermalaria. He apparently has more than one set of vocal cords, as he is able to sing harmony with himself. He once managed to beat the ever-living daylights out of a Mob Enforcer with his bare claws. John and Hubert have been friends since 2927.[10] Young zoidberg and professor John Zoidberg and Hubert Farnsworth working for MomCorp in the year 2927. As of the statement above, it's indicated that John is older than 80. Presumably in his 100's as Zoidberg in the photo looks in his 20's. "The Tip of the Zoidberg" reveals that Zoidberg is actually a competent physician, but for aliens and not humans (or, in Bender's case, robots). He's competent enough where Mom recognizes his skillfulness with alien anatomies. Also, Mom is shown to respect Zoidberg enough for the two of them to be on a first-name-basis with each other (since Zoidberg refers to Mom by her real first name of "Carol"). In addition to his fake medical degree, he is said to have mail-ordered murderology and murderonomy degrees.[11] He is the only known being to be deemed "good" by Robot Santa Claus as he was given a pogo stick as a gift. The reason for this could be an error by Santa Claus or because of his kind and innocent personality.[12] It was once revealed that he lives in one of Professor Farnsworth's inventions. However, he officially lives in a dumpster due to his poverty. The closest he ever got to having a real home was when he made one out of a seashell, only to have it burned down by Bender despite the fact that it was underwater. Despite his poor skills as a comedian, he is shown to be very skilled at ventriloquism. Zoidberg is one of two characters who are known primarily by their surname: the other is Fry. Leela doesn't count as it's revealed in "A Leela of Her Own" that Turanga is Leela's family name. He has a gland which generates foul odors when bored, as demonstrated in Bender's Big Score. He never actually said the famous meme "Why not Zoidberg" throughout the series. However, he did say it in a DVD promo for Volume 7. He has a Doctorate Degree in Art History, as seen in "The Duh-Vinci Code". He is said to smell like a burning zoo. Zoidberg's e-mail is [email protected] as revealed in Bender's Big Score. Zoidberg appears in all but three episodes of the series: "Space Pilot 3000", "Mars University", and "Brannigan, Begin Again". Of the main seven characters, Zoidberg makes the third-most number of appearances, after Professor Farnsworth (the second-most) and the main trio (Fry, Leela and Bender are the only characters to appear in every single episode of the series). Zoidberg works part-time as a busboy at Elzar's. Robot Santa, Fry, the Professor, Marianne, and Mom are the only characters to treat him with genuine kindness. Behind the Scenes In the development process for the show, David X. Cohen looked to the original Star Trek series for inspiration. Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy often operated on alien species, so they decided to have an alien doctor that served the human crew and as the series unfolded it became clear that John's medical ability was lacking with humans but highly skilled with aliens, which makes him a spoof of Dr. McCoy. Additionally, Zoidberg's character also took on other running jokes: he became poor, lonely, as well as a failed comedian in addition to being a horrible doctor. His Yiddish accent is ironic because he is a shellfish, which Jewish people do not eat. He is overall a satirization of modern American doctors, who are often wealthy and respected, while Zoidberg is homeless and friendless. The name "Zoidberg" comes from a game for the Apple II, that Cohen developed when he was in high school. Although Zoid was never picked up, it became the basis for Zoidberg's name. DR. LAUREN CAHILL (Or Dr. Cahill for short) the twenty-eight year old doctor at the Head Museum and at a unnamed hospital According to Hermes Conrad she was a bimbo. She took offense to this and said just because she had a breathy voice, full sensual lips, and a steaming hot body did not mean she was a bimbo. Her speech was immediately contradicted when she forgot she had to put Hermes' head in a jar and calling herself "ditzy-witzy she has medium length light blonde hair and a highly attractive appearance. She often wears a sleeveless purple dress under a buttoned doctor's coat and purple low cut heels, She is often stereotyped as a "dumb blonde" because of her appearance but, despite a few ditzy lines in Bender's Big Score, she is actually quite intelligent, serious, and down to Earth. Fry calls her Dr Goodnsexy, she highly resents sexual stereotyping. LINDA VAN SCHOONHOVEN - a female human, probably originating from Los Angeles, USA, Earth. She is a widely known television presenter, and co-hosts several shows on Channel √2, most prominently, the news, with Morbo. Linda frequently laughs at very serious threats from him, and often describes news in a cheery way no matter how tragic it is, examples include the imminent destruction of New New York by a giant ball of garbage and a dark matter oil spill on Pluto. She also laughed at and commented on the death of a news reporter in a hovercopter crash, She is an alcoholic, and without alcohol is unable to cope with her children, her newscasting and life in general Linda is always seen with blonde hair and a futuristic pink dress and low cut pink heels, pink lips When she is hot or in a panic, her make-up and eyeliner is smeared. She appears to be slightly ditsy. MORBO - the little known species of yellow-eyed aliens with gigantic heads, the husband of Fawn, and the father of her numerous belligerent offspring. He is also a widely known television presenter. Morbo started as a reporter in Los Angeles, and now co-hosts several shows on Channel √2, most prominently, the news, with Linda van Schoonhoven, with whom he maintains a relationship that is at least odd. A violent alien and a good friend of President Richard Nixon, he is also obsessed with taking over Earth, mentioning it very frequently. Apparently, he is the scout of an impending alien invasion, although it is possible that his evil is just an act used to increase ratings. Morbo always refers to himself in the third person, and his exposed torso is terrifying beyond imagination CAROL MILLER (Better known as Mom) the evil chief executive officer and shareholder of 99.7% (Walt, Igner, Larry own 0.1% each of the company) of MomCorp, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in the universe and the source of most of Earth's robots and its multiple subsidiary companies, such as Mom's Friendly Robot Company. While having the public face of a kind old woman, she is in reality bitter, cold-hearted and evil CANDY - a member of the first Planet Express crew in 2961. Even though she was the sole female of the crew, she is more the equivalent to Philip J. Fry, as they are both named after comfort foods. Professor Farnsworth described her as "the raunchy by-the-books navigator" in 3011 In 2961, Candy was digested by a four-dimensional space whale along with the rest of the first crew. In 3011, however, the whale, piloted by Leela, set her free, having allowed her not to age a day, because, according to Professor Farnsworth, it "must have some kind of Möbius colon that endlessly recycles time and space" She has red hair, short blue pants with a light pink belt with a bright pink buckle, light blue polo medium size shirt with no bra underneath, pink lips, knee high light pink heels, fair skin MARIANNE - Zoidberg's girlfriend. They met at her flower stand, in 3013, when Zoidberg bought half a bouquet of daisies for his then-girlfriend Zindy, who later left him because of his foul stench. As a florist, Marianne would get very little business, likely due to keeping the stand next to Zoidberg's dumpster. A full bouquet of daisies cost six dollars she appears to be rather kind woman. She remarks that she does not like to see other living creatures in pain, and was quick to give Zoidberg a chance after getting to know the real him. She also has an encyclopedic knowledge of flowers showing her to be an extremely talented botanist as well as a florist. She is the only person who has treated Dr. Zoidberg with kindness from the moment she met him, and has never given him any grief whatsoever. Marianne has an English accent. She was born with no sense of smell, so she was not affected by Zoidberg's odour. As a doctor, Zoidberg was able to give her her sense of smell, but he feared that this would end their relationship. However, he nevertheless performed a nose transplant, and Marianne ended up liking his scent, as she had never learned a good smell from a bad smell. After the surgery, Marianne got a new job collecting waste She has orange hair and red lips MICHELLE JENKINS - Fry's last girlfriend before he was frozen. She broke up with Fry when she met Charles Constantine. Once in 2000, Bender walked in on her and Charles mid-coitus while he was under the control of scamming aliens. Michelle was later married to Charles before she fell on hard times. She froze herself, with the intention to wake in 2266, to give herself a fresh start, but instead woke in 3001 (Lars Fillmore reset the timer) and briefly hooked up with Fry again. Michelle's dislike of the 31st century led her to persuade Fry to freeze himself with her another 1000 years, which led them to a wasteland (in reality they were still in 3001 and had simply moved to Los Angeles). The pair quickly grew impatient with each other, making their relationship sour again, and she hooked up with Pauly Shore. Fry once described her as "demanding and possessive". She has brunette hair, low cut purple heels, sleeveless purple dress and a necklace She is a 20th-century woman, so is Fry (also from the 20th century) She is often portrayed as a villainous character, there are some instances that she can be somewhat heroic. UMBRIEL - a mermaid who appeared in "The Deep South" as one of the mermaids living in the lost city of Atlanta. She has long blonde hair, a purple tail, and wears a pink bra and a choker with a shell on the front. She had a brief romance with Fry, until he learned how Mermaid intercourse worked, ditching her for the surface. THE COLONEL - a merman and the Mayor of Atlanta. He has a daughter, Umbriel. He shows the Planet Express crew around the city and shows them a video on why/how Atlanta was brought down into the sea (narrated by Donovan) and how they mutated. He appears to be a parody of Colonel Sanders, the founder of the KFC restaurant chain ZAPP BRANNIGAN - a 25-Star General in the Democratic Order of Planets, captain of his flagship, the Nimbus, and head of the DOOP Army. is a 25-Star General in the Democratic Order of Planets, captain of his flagship, the Nimbus, and head of the DOOP Army. Although he claims to be a strategic genius, Zapp Brannigan is actually an imbecile and a coward whose plans could have easily been conjured up by a child. Zapp is inexplicably well-respected throughout the universe, appearing as a Miss Universe Judge and often (ineffectively) defending Earth from attacks. Due to his stupidity and incompetence, most battles Zapp leads are lost; however, sometimes the army is lucky. Zapp doesn't care about casualties and cheerfully sends wave after wave of his own men to die in battle. (This is most likely based on the idea that one can send more and more people to someone with a gun until it runs out of bullets.) He also apparently suffers from a learning disorder that he calls sexlexia, which is a disturbingly erotic disorder, though this may simply have been a pick-up line. The central law of DOOP, Brannigan's Law, is named after him] All this aside, he actually seemed happy for Kif after Kif had just given birth He is a tall and overweight male human with blond hair. He is usually seen wearing the DOOP military uniform OFFICER SMITH, better known as Smitty, a peace officer at the New New York Police Department. He was retired in the summer of 3011, but somehow returned to the force. His main partner is URL, and they often go keeping the peace together. Smitty is generally the weaker part of the partnership, where URL is the one who gets them both motivated to do their job. CHIEF O' MANAHAN - the police chief of the New New York Police Department who has many mannerisms and expressions typically associated with 'macho' men, including smoking a cigar and frequent spitting GRRRL - a female human cross-species dresser who has been seen dressing up as an Omicronian She seems to have some kind of lust for alien monsters, as, once Lrrr "dumped her", she immediately turned to Dr. Zoidberg, a Decapodian INEZ WONG - The wife of Leo Wong and the mother of Amy Wong, Inez is similar to her husband being selfish and greedy. She is also overly concerned about Amy's choice of Fonfon Ru and was obsessed with getting a grandchild. Apparently, she cares more about having grandchildren than the happiness of her daughter. As soon as their Buggalo were stolen, Inez claimed she wanted to divorce Leo indicating that she only married him for his money LEO WONG - A rich human who owns the western hemisphere of Mars together with his wife Inez. They farm buggalo at their ranch. They often are urging their only daughter, Amy, to have children, but are disappointed to find that her chosen parter is Kif, an Amphibiosan. Leo is also the cause of several environmental disasters and huge explosions, including the destruction of Mars Vegas and an attempt to wipe out 12% of the Milky Way in order to create a giant miniature golf course. PROFESSOR FARNSWORTH - Hubert J. Farnsworth (born April 9, 2841), better known as Professor Farnsworth, Professor or just Farnsworth, is the chief executive officer and a shareholder of Planet Express and the tetragonist of Futurama. He is pushing the limits of even the 31st Century at an agе of well over 160. Professor Farnsworth is one of six living relatives of Philip J. Fry, together with his own clone, Cubert J. Farnsworth, as well as his only son by means of his sexual relations with Carol Miller while he worked for her, Igner. He has a brother named Floyd, also his parents Velma and Ned Farnsworth are still alive. He is Fry's nephew thirty times removed. Though never stated, it's likely he is the descendant of Yancy Fry, Jr, through Yancy's only known child Philip J. Fry II named after his uncle. However, since it's revealed that Fry is his own grandfather and therefore Yancy's grandfather, as well as Philip II's great-grandfather, due to his time-traveling exploits, Professor Farnsworth is logically, in fact, Fry's direct descendant via his brother/grandson/great-uncle Yancy Jr. and nephew/great-grandson Philip II. So the six include: himself, Cubert, Igner, Floyd, Velma, and Ned. He is 160 years old and does NOT have a beard! IGNER - the youngest and dumbest of Mom's sons, and the only non-clone offspring of Hubert Farnsworth. As the dumbest of the three, he is often prone to slapstick events, and unquestioningly does what his brothers ask him to, but he is also the one with a sincere heart. WALT - the oldest of Mom's sons, and is generally the most loyal of the three, if not also the most reliable. He has grown to use some of his mother's method of slapping his younger brothers, when he feels they are being inappropriate, and Mom often commands him to slap them. LARRY - the middle child of Mom's sons, and together with Walt are the two sane ones. Larry is also the shy one of the three, as he wishes people to tone down on saying the word "bra", especially when referring to Mom's. He is most prone to be slapped by Mom or Walt, but has on occasion slapped Igner. Larry is usually given the dirty work that Walt does not want to do, but will often just let Igner do it. LaBarbara Conrad (formerly LaBarbara Slim) the wife of Hermes, and mother to Dwight. However, she has not always been attached to Hermes and was once married to Barbados Slim, Hermes' bitter limboing rival during the 2980 Olympics and again during the 3004 Olympics. She lives with her family in an apartment. Colleen O'Hallahan the former chief of police and Fry's girlfriend in "The Beast with a Billion Backs". While Colleen and Fry date, Fry constantly flatters her by saying she looks beautiful while Coleen replies with less interest perhaps due to having all her other boyfriends. She has four other boyfriends besides Fry. Colleen is convinced to love Yivo (sentient, extraterrestrial being from another universe, who communicated with universe "gamma" through the space-time hole called "the anomaly" made in Bender's Big Score. Shkle makes Fry the pope of a new Religion, whose adherents are encouraged to "love the tentacle". Yivo used shkler "gentacles" (as proclaimed by Leela) to have sex with every living being in the gamma universe except Leela, unbeknownst to them. Shkle is shown to be sometimes saying mean things to Humans.) who loves (and makes love to) everyone. She also most likely has gonorrhea, as Yivo stated that shkle has it and Colleen is shklis only steady lover…she has luscious blonde hair, fair skin, a pink crop top and a blue skirt (with futuristic details) and black low cut heels MORGAN PROCTOR - a bureaucrat (grade 19) who works at the Central Bureaucracy inspecting other bureaucrats. She temporarily worked for Planet Express while Hermes was away due to stress. During the time she was there, she had a secret affair with Fry because she was secretly tired of being around neat freaks and found his filthiness kinky, sometimes becoming uncontrollably aroused. she is a beautiful woman with white-skin and pink lips. She has long brown hair which she mostly wears in a "bolla". She wears glasses with a future-like green/blue blouse with a skirt and a silver belt with shiny silver earrings. Legend has it she's hotter when her brown hair is down PETUNIA - a female Human from Nutley who smokes a lot. She is apparently a prostitute, although she was seen operating a self-service bee farm, which she seems to own, during Kwanzaa 3010 HYPNOTOAD - a large toad with oscillating, multicolored eyes, who can hypnotize anything at will, including an entire crowd of Humans, by making a loud, buzzing noise. It is an Earthican celebrity, and has two shows of its own: Everybody Loves Hypnotoad, which it writes, directs and produces, and Hypnotoad On Ice. THOG - a Amazonian from the planet Amazonia. Like the other Amazons, she is gigantic and warrior-like cavewoman. She has long blond hair with bone hair ornaments in it. Unlike Kug and Ornik, she is the only one of the three that wears bones as she wears a bone like top and wears high heel shoes made of bones while Kug and Ornik wear fur clothing. KUG - Also a Amazonian; She is tall, muscular, has blue hair styled in a mohawk and wears leopard skinned clothing. She holds a wooden mace in her right hand. ORNIK - large and muscular (albeit with darker skin than most), but she also happens to have one of the more feminine voices in the village. Like most Amazonians, she wears animal fur clothing, as well as white earrings and a headband and yes also a Amazonian Cubert J. Farnsworth - a fraternal clone of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, but he takes on the role of his son. The DNA used to clone him was scraped from a growth on the Professor's back in 2989 and this is the day that is celebrated in lieu of an actual birthday. His nose is flattened due to the Professor accidentally leaving him in one of his earlier cloning tubes for too long. He is a chubby boy with ginger hair in a similar style to Fry's. He has chubby cheeks, and he usually wears a watch and a light blue t-shirt with a Helium atom on it. He wears dark blue shorts and red trainers He is the sole heir to Planet Express and Professor Farnsworth's fortune, as he is Professor Farnsworth's closest living relative. He spends most of his time within the Planet Express Building with the Planet Express Crew and during his first appearance, "A Clone of My Own", appeared to criticize everything. He seems highly intelligent, but in reality he is usually just pointing out the logical flaws in the behaviors and actions of others, as well as the ways in which his father's inventions defy the laws of science. Hd is best friends with his classmate Dwight, the son of Hermes and LaBarbara. In an attempt to prove they are better than their fathers, but also earn their admiration, they go into business together. The result: the short-lived delivery company Awesome Express that was highly successful at first but quickly overwhelmed the two. At school they suffer the occasional bout of bullying at the hands of Brett Blob, the son of Horrible Gelatinous Blob. Because he is Professor Farnsworth's one fraternal clone, he is technically his fraternal twin brothеr, but due to being much younger, Hubert treats him as a son and refers to him as such. According to Bender, Cubert is legally the same person as the Professor THE ROBOT DEVIL - one of the recurring antagonists in Futurama. He seems to resemble the Devil/Satan/Lucifer of many Earth religions. He lives in Robot Hell along with many other sinners. He is talented at playing the fiddle, therefore, he owns a golden one (presumably a reference to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," which mentions both a golden fiddle and the Devil). He lives in New Jersey and runs Robot Hell in an abandoned amusement park called Reckless Ted's Funland, which Fry remembers from his original century (according to him, the place was forced to shut down after a bunch of people got salmonella from the flume ride). The Fun House located inside the park houses Robot Hell, accessible via slide by pressing the symbol of Robotology (demonstrated by Fry) He can swap his hands with any human very fast and the human doesn't feel any pain. His arms, legs, upper and lower torso resemble Bender's body parts very much though his fingers are pointed and his feet are two-toed (much like the cloven hooves of the Christian devil) rather than Bender's semi-sphere feet. The Robot devil has backup bodies in case he dies and goes to Robot Hell. He also has a bit of flamboyancy in his speech and movements, easily angered by being mocked. He is a bit hypocritical, once confronting Fry about his opera characters "lacking subtlety" and "announcing how they feel" by saying "That makes me feel angry!" He exhibits traits similar to traditional depictions of devils, such as making deals with a catch. He rarely lies, but frequently leaves out the entire truth, such as when he says that he would give Fry the hands of a random robot he had probably never met, but the wheel he spins to almost lands on Bender's name. Despite his evil nature, he considers Bender to be even worse than he is after seeing some of the latter's acts and saying there are no robots eviler than him. (However, this could be false, due to the fact that he resembles the Christian devil, known as Satan, who is frequently depicted as tricking others into doing bad deeds) he is the only robot who has a movable jaw. APRIL - A obese woman who used her $300 Tricky Dick Fun Bill to get a "crazy treatment" that would make her look thinner. She dated Professor Farnsworth for a short time. She appears as a background character in later episodes with her thin body assuming that she's still using the treatment or that she lost weight DIXIE - a Caucasian, blonde, pink lips, and wears a purple bikini including low cut purple heels and a "party babe" along with TRIXIE who party with Slurms MacKenzie. They worked for Slurm, acting as the backup dancers of the company's mascot, Slurms MacKenzie, appearing alongside him in advertisements and commercial events, faithfully fulfilling the role for forty years, despite keeping an outwardly youthful look. Unbeknownst to the public, they, as well as MacKenzie, were forced to party 24/7, facing the sack if they didn't. Their escape from the Slurm Factory, as well as the death of Slurms MacKenzie, presumably ended their contracts. The pair briefly joins the short-lived "radical" incarnation of the Eco-Feministas, led by Leela. In 3024, Trixie was seen promoting Infyrno Fest, in one scene where a miniature version of her was seen on a pillow a bigger version of her swallowed, and it repeated on loop, turning faster each time, something which caused Bender's head to explode due to how crazy it was, but Dixie is nowhere to be seen, suggesting the duo may have likely separated ways, or maybe not. The source for their apparent youth is never addressed nor brought up, though cosmetic enhancement procedures, like reverse aging tar, are likely. KIF KROKER - A Amphibiosan from the planet Amphibios 9, and a member of the Democratic Order of Planets (DOOP), where he acts as lieutenant to the inept general Zapp Brannigan. Though quiet and painfully bashful by nature, he loathes Zapp Brannigan and his farcical plans. He also dislikes his boss' skimpy uniforms, the contents of which are frequently revealed to the unfortunate Kif when Brannigan climbs ladders on their spaceship, the Nimbus. This passive nature is exploited by Brannigan on several occasions, placing the blame on Kif for disastrous operations such as the Titanic's change in course, the destruction of DOOP Headquarters, and the failure to stop the invading Decapodians from taking over Earth. He is actually tired of being Brannigan's personal slave but for some unknown reason, he does not even dare to say the word to his commanding officer. In fact, he does not even dare to stand up to Brannigan when he is being bullied by him. However, Kif showed himself taking a stand against Brannigan by punching him hard in the stomach in "The Beast With A Billion Backs" and even disobeying one of Brannigan's orders in "Into the Wild Green Yonder". He rarely drinks and smokes, but when Kif is drunk he finds Brannigan's words to be extremely funny. He is timid to all beings he meets, with the exception of Philip J. Fry, who is assigned to be his assistant when the Planet Express Crew was drafted into the "War" on Spheron 1. Years of abuse from Zapp most likely contributed to his hostile attitude since he finally had someone under him. He appears to be friends with Fry besides this incident. TRIXE - a African, has black hair and wears a pink bikini she too is a "party babe" just like Dixie Despite working for over 40 years, the two look very young. ADMIRELLA - One of the Admirals in the Democratic Order of Planets, who first made an appearance in the episode "Cuteness Overlord". She wears a map of space underneath her uniform to show the locations of the DOOP's bases, she has blonde hair NJÖRD - the Icelandic supermodel. Her exact position in Philip J. Fry II's life is somewhat disputed, other than the fact that they dated at one point Njord has medium length light blonde hair, pink lips, turquoise fuzzy hat, turquoise belt, teal leggings, knee high turquoise heels, teel fashion gloves with fuzzy turquoise cults, a fuzzy turquoise top that covers her medium sized breasts, fair skin Njörd's name and nationality are clearly a parody of Björk Ladies of 50,000,000 AD - they are the inhabitants of Earth in the year 50000000, a verdant paradise. They are very beautiful, dress in skimpy clothes and use negative mass neutrino fields for backwards time travel; they value men regardless of age or intelligence. There is also a big monitor, where videos are often shown, especially educational films. A holographic projector is also used frequently.
