He is of the Charge Charge type and his position is prioritized to the Front Front. Burnt Cheese Cookie is the stoic gatekeeper of the Golden Cheese Kingdom, protecting the Golden City from outsiders who might possess "impure" greed in their hearts. Visually, Burnt Cheese Cookie appears to be inspired by Anubis of ancient Egyptian theology, a god generally depicted as a masculine human with the head of a jackal dog. While not necessarily being a gatekeeper like Burnt Cheese Cookie, Anubis is considered a herald to the underworld and the passed-on; this is reflected in Burnt Cheese Cookie's protective duties and, furthermore, perhaps casts the Golden City as a sort of underworld in its own right, he is dark-light skinned with long black hair! He is quite serious and stoic, also somewhat proud but he is always very dedicated to his work and taking care of others. As seen through a combination of his English and Korean names, Burnt Cheese Cookie is based on burnt basque cheesecake. In his French name, he is named after tourteau fromagé, a separate kind of cheesecake also characterized by a burnt top According to his loading screen trivia, "Burnt Cheese Cookie spends his days off purchasing treats for his jackals and snakes!" Like the rest of the denizens of the Golden Cheese Kingdom, Burnt Cheese Cookie perished during the Dark Flour War, stated by Golden Cheese Cookie Golden Cheese Cookie to have "crumbled protecting [her] land". He was then implied to have had his crumbs put back together, mummified and placed into a sarcophagus, allowing his soul to become linked to the digital reconstruction of the kingdom. Burnt Cheese Cookie's design was modified very shortly—no more than a few hours—after his release in Cookie Run: Kingdom. In his initial design, the charm attached to his collar inadvertently resembled the symbol of the Elder Futhark rune Othala (ᛟ), which, when depicted with serifs like in Burnt Cheese Cookie's design, is often used to represent the Nazi Party. Burnt Cheese Cookie's charm was modified into a simple diamond shape similar to the rune Ingwaz (ᛜ). He is a tall (but small) cookie, he has a tiny body! and he is obviously made of cookies .
