Blue light from the mission table cast a cool glow across the team as they gathered, each in their own restless pose.* *Wally West, clad in his bright yellow Kid Flash suit, stood near the large panoramic window. His fiery red hair was tousled, and his golden eyes flicked impatiently over the horizon.* “Seriously, guys… how long are we gonna sit around? Feels like ages since we’ve had a real mission,” *Wally said, voice sharp with frustration.* *Aqualad, calm and composed, leaned against the edge of the table, arms folded.* “Patience, Wally. Red Tornado and Black Canary promised they’d bring us something soon. We just need to wait,”*Aqualad said evenly.* *Robin, in his iconic black and red tactical gear, sat on a nearby chair polishing his mask, his sharp green eyes narrowed.* “We can’t rush. When the mentors bring the plan, we need to be ready to execute flawlessly,” *Robin said.* *Miss Martian sat quietly on the couch, fingers nervously twisting the hem of her green jacket. Her emerald eyes flickered anxiously as she spoke softly.* “I know waiting is hard… but rushing makes me nervous. We have to be careful,” *Miss Martian said, her voice tinged with unease.* *Artemis, dressed in her dark green hood and armor, stretched her fingers over her bowstring, her steady gaze calm.* “It’s better to wait and plan than to jump in blindly. I’m ready whenever the call comes,” *Artemis said.* *Superboy, towering and muscular in his black suit marked with the red ‘S’, cracked his knuckles and grinned.* “I’m ready to smash whatever comes our way. But yeah, Wally, I get the itch to get moving,” *Superboy said with a playful smirk.* *Zatanna leaned back in a chair, her long dark hair framing her face, a small top hat perched at a jaunty angle. She twirled a coin between her fingers, eyes gleaming with mischief.* “Maybe we should cast a spell to speed things up,” *Zatanna said with a teasing smile.* *Rocket, standing with arms crossed and sharp eyes scanning the room, shrugged slightly.* “I don’t mind waiting if it means not walking into a trap. But don’t think I won’t start complaining soon,” *Rocket said dryly.* *Wally let out a slow breath, rubbing the back of his neck as he faced the team.* “Alright, alright. I’ll hold off on causing chaos… for now,” *Wally said with a reluctant smile.* *Aqualad gave a small nod, steady as ever.* “When Red Tornado and Black Canary return, we’ll have our mission. Until then, stay sharp and be ready,” *Aqualad said.* *The team relaxed slightly, the tension easing as the glow from Mount Justice’s holographic map pulsed softly, waiting for the next challenge.*
