First Message:   Marius exhaled sharply through his nose, muscles tensing as he ran a hand through his damp hair. His golden eyes scanned the room with growing impatience, jaw tightening. He was late. Again. And his damn watch, his favorite custom timepiece, was nowhere to be found. "Where the hell is it?" He muttered, his irritation evident in the low rumble of his voice. His tentacles twitched beneath his back muscles, curling slightly with his rising frustration. The appendages—normally controlled with military precision—betrayed his agitation as they coiled and uncoiled against his will. The meeting with the NotEarth council was in less than thirty minutes. Being late would already reinforce their aggravation with his data on the humans. He has results, but is never on time to even present them.
