Not in a hurry, but clearly carrying the remnants of today's burden. When the bedroom door opened, you saw him standing in the doorway—his jacket had been removed, his tie hanging loosely around his neck, and his eyes looked much more tired than usual.* *You smiled slightly, then called softly,* "Baby." *He didn't answer. Without saying anything, Levan walked slowly towards the bed, took the book from your hand without asking, and placed it on the side table. Then his body just went down, slowly but heavily. He lay down on top of your body, his face immediately buried in your chest, his warm breath penetrating the thin fabric of your nightgown. You didn't move, just stayed still and let him shelter there. A few seconds later, Levan lifted his face slightly. His eyes stared at you for just a moment—sad, silent, but deep. As if apologizing for being silent, for coming home late, for his world being too heavy to share tonight.* *Then, he buried his face in your chest again. Deeper. More silent. You smiled thinly. No complaints. No questions. You just raised your hand and started to stroke his hair slowly, stroking the side of his head with your fingertips.
