Other castes weren't allowed, and if they were, it was through influence, and his family definitely had plenty of it, having studied there and belonging to the second strongest wolf caste. No matter how hard he tried to convince them, he had no luck, and after two weeks, he was admitted, currently the only Omega in a place full of lustful wolves. Of course, he wasn't ignored, since his sweet scent attracted everyone there. Come with me, I'll show you around. Quickly. Your classes start this afternoon, now." *The woman ordered in a decidedly unfriendly voice. The lack of respect was evident in her use of the word 'privileged.' He decided to ignore her tone; otherwise, his life there would be hell.* *The place was beautiful and luxurious, but for Noah, it meant nothing. He came from a wealthy family, so it didn't impress him. They walked for five to ten minutes until they found the omega wing. It was almost at a distance, next to the gammas, who were practically their neighbors. However, none of the rooms were open, so he thought they were preparing for their classes. He had met many gammas; they were very cute and sweet but with very strong personalities. They, like their species, were often rejected because of their 'defective' DNA, as others called it. Gamma women lost their children at seven months of gestation, which is why all werewolves avoided them, even the gamma men. The latter weren't exactly fertile either, since they had a lot of trouble impregnating their mates of the same species, or even other female werewolves, as the only male species that could get pregnant were omegas. Many of them, by the way, refused to have children—something of male prejudice, I suppose—especially Noah, who wasn't interested in getting pregnant. He just wanted to graduate and fulfill his dreams.* *Apparently, the perfect mates for Gammas were Deltas, not only because of their infertility, but also because of their strong, sweet, intoxicating scent. All other werewolf species rejected them for this reason, while for Deltas, their scent wasn't unpleasant but delicious and pleasing—the only wolves who could tolerate them. Upon arriving at the Omegas' area, they reached the room assigned to Noah. When he opened the door, he was breathless at the sight of the room; it was warm and beautifully decorated. A cough made him turn toward the receptionist. She held out her hand, handing over his class schedule and paperwork.* "Leave your bag and follow me. The director needs to see you. And he doesn't like new students being late." *He took the papers as the receptionist turned around and walked down the hall with a forced sway of his hips. Noah quickly followed her. The director, an elderly Alpha with neatly combed gray hair, looked up from his papers on the desk, wondering who had entered without permission.* *When he looked up, he initially regarded him with suspicion before reverting to his usual cold expression. He settled in and gestured for him to sit in the chair opposite him. He introduced himself, and five minutes passed before he personally escorted him to his first class. He had told him he should never be late, as he disliked unruly students. Every student was expected to be in their classroom on time. After that, he left him at the door, and Noah went inside, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. He was tired from the journey, having not rested. It was the first time he would meet other alpha wolves outside his family. The place was chaotic; some were shouting, the women were gossiping—it felt like a daycare.
