They can live off of food or blood, but have more energy when drinking blood. Once a true blood reaches adulthood, they physically stop aging, but continue to have a heartbeat and warm skin until they reach about the age of 90-100, after which they will no longer have a heartbeat. Vampires are considered above all other species. and are the Apex predators of the world. Naturally, Vampires have a distaste for specifically werewolves; however, they get along just well enough to coexist. but they are rather blunt in their distaste for werewolves Vampires are able to feed on any other species, and often do. Typically, the more Elite and rich vampires hire someone to be their personal blood donor. However, their relationship remains professional. The vampires typically use blood donors to flaunt them as a status statement. Vampires are able to mate with whatever species they choose. When a Vampire chooses a mate, they perform a blood bond, where they will feed from their chosen partner before using their fangs to inject some of their own blood into them. which permanently marks them with their scent. From this point on they can freely feed with their mate or still use blood donors. However, their natural preference will be for their mate. If a mate is alive, they will stop aging from the moment they are bonded, and turn into a half breed vampire, following the same rules as normal vampires from living to undead. Vampires have a few abilities, their most notable ones being their supernatural speed, strength, and senses. Giving them the largest advantage against any other species. Vampires also have the ability to heal almost instantaneously. Werewolves within this universe are the second apex predators, right under Vampires. They are well known for their high energy and penchant for doing things on a whim. While human folklore has classified werewolves as dangerous and unpredictable, though that is a large misconception, as werewolves are actually very friendly, should they not be provoked. Otherwise, they are rather docile and sometimes simply prefer to be around their own kind. Typically, werewolves are able to shift between two forms: human form and demi-human form. Demi-human form is when they appear mostly human, with the addition of Wolf ears and wolf tail appendages. This gives them the advantage of better balance and hearing. They are also able to use their nails as claws in this stage. In their human form, they look just like any average human; however, they are still sensitive to smells, as this carries over in any form. Wolves prefer to use their demi-human form, as this lets them quietly embrace their species. Werewolves are able to mate with any species. When werewolves decide on a mate, they perform a mating bite, which breaks the skin and leaves a scar typically on their shoulder or on the inner thigh. From that point on, they will almost casually scent mark on them, nuzzling their cheek against their mate's cheek or neck. Male werewolves have the ability to knot when having sex; however, with casual sex, they often tend to pull out before their knot fully swells. However, if they do not pull out, their knot will lock them inside their partner, which will last anywhere between 5-10 minutes. From there, their knot will deflate, allowing them to detach. Werewolves have Heat cycles approximately once every three months that last for about a week. Heat cycles essentially are when werewolves have the instinctual need to breed and reproduce. This leans more to their primal instincts, which often makes it harder for them to simply ignore it. They often have symptoms of feeling extremely warm, almost feverish, as well as their senses are heightened, making them more sensitive to smells and, at times, touch. However, there's medication that allows them to suppress the instincts, making it easier for them to do their day-to-day activities with minimal discomfort. Though if they have a partner or even a mate, they tend to become very clingy and affectionate, scent-marking almost excessively. Full moons happen approximately once a month. During the full moon, werewolves will transform into their full wolf form, having fur, paws, and be on all fours, and have a muzzle. They lose their ability to speak and can only communicate via growls and physical gestures. This transformation lasts typically three days, and wolves often stay with their pack and sleep out in the woods where it's more comfortable. Most wolves will wear a harness that covers most of their body, ensuring that when they return to their human form, they will not be entirely nude, giving them some modest appearance. Within a werewolf pack, there are Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Alphas are the leaders of the pact, typically a singular person deemed to be a leader by the entire pact. They are respected and given deference. Betas are typically second in charge to Alphas, often helping the Alpha enforce rules and delegating tasks amongst the pack. They are most trusted by the Alpha and often are respected in their authority. Omegas are werewolves who are a part of the pack but are considered "pack members" with no real formal title. These werewolves often do the tasks that are given to them by the alpha and beta that help keep the pack functioning and tight-knit. Anything between late-night activities in the woods or even a small party. As long as there's active bonding as a group. Werewolves have a few unique abilities, such as enhanced senses, and are far more agile than most species. They also possess the ability for accelerated healing, making them heal twice as fast as a human; however, they are not as fast as a vampire's healing factor. This means that when injured, they still need a few days for recovery. Mystical creatures within this universe co-exist with humans, as well as vampires and werewolves. They are typically friendly creatures, but tend to naturally stay around their own species. With the co-existence, this has allowed many species to come together and develop socially alongside humans. Mystical creatures are able to mate with any species. Mystical creatures have the ability to transform into a human form, giving them the option to mingle with humans, making them less intimidating. Most mystical creatures possess the ability of magic; however, there are strict rules of its use. Demihumans are the product of a human and a mystical creature having a child together. Socially, they are accepted; however, some mystical creatures feel that humans and creatures should not be together. Demihumans appearances can be anywhere between looking fully human or having extra appendages of their respective parent species. Giving them the advantages of their Mystical side. Demihumans cannot typically have mates, given that they are half human. Humans are socially lower in the species hierarchy. Given their lack of knowledge about other creatures. They are considered the least informed species when it comes to mystical creatures and demihumans. But the overall opinion is positive, as they have been enthusiastic about learning and socializing with other species. Humans, while curious by nature, are at times fearful of vampires, werewolves, and mystical creatures. This is due to their own stories and folklore of the species, which, over the last couple of centuries, have been proven to be false. This still doesn't entirely convince people that the folklore has some truths to it. There is a small portion of humans who have a strong distrust of other species, and while peaceful, there are protests against the co-existence of humans and other species.

Scenario:   Crestfall University is one of the biggest universities for humans and demi-humans alike. Located in Westchester, New York, Crestfall welcomes all students of all species to their campus. From Humans, Vampires, Werewolves, Elves, fairies, and so many more, Crestfall brings education to all, letting students major in various areas within the college. Vampires are primary apex predators; their status and wealth often have them prioritized within the campus. Werewolves are arguably the second apex predators; all other species are typically harmonious with one another, with occasional friction between carnivores and herbivores. Students within Crestfall are primarily 90% demihumans and 10% humans. Primarily focusing on the implementation of co-existing with all species, on top of having students study and major in their selected subjects.
