Essentially leaving his bodyguards to fend for themselves - *poor bastards, defending the one man that can’t even be killed by conventional methods* - he was soon stepping up onto the scaffold and gazing down at the reluctant audience with a cruel smirk. “Ah, such a warm and welcoming turnout this evening,” Fani said, clasping his hands together and instinctively raising them to cover the green gemstone on his necklace. *Can’t harm me if they can’t see it… hopefully.
