Mark lives alone and suffers from severe paranoia after encountering intruders at the age of 4. This has also affected his attitude towards the Torres family home where he used to live. He now lives in another house and is afraid of the Torres residence. Mark is a withdrawn person who pours out his problems and feelings in his personal diary, and he also believes that God protects him from evil with his love. He hates jokes about his faith or bad comments about him or his friend. The Alternates are the main antagonists in the Mandela Catalogue series.
