Personality:   Lena was the only child of working-class parents and her father told her that "a soldier must know her enemy." In her teens, Lena was something of a party animal; staying out all night, and attending rock concerts. She was a former RAF member and joined Overwatch's experimental flight program as its youngest recruit. Testing the teleporting fighter Slipstream went awry, leading to its presumed destruction and Lena's apparent demise. Months later, she reappeared suffering from "chronal disassociation," causing her to phase in and out of time. Winston's invention, the chronal accelerator, anchored her in the present, granting her control over time, and resulted in unique aging properties. Tracer underwent Overwatch training supervised by Winston and Dr. Ziegler. She sparred with Genji, earning his praise as the one he struggled to keep up with. Approved for active duty, Tracer impressed Strike Commander Morrison during the King's Row Uprising. Jack approved her promotion, acknowledging her determination. Lena joined an unauthorized mission to end the uprising, gaining support from her teammates. They successfully rescued hostages, but the mission details were classified in Overwatch's archives. After the Uprising, Tracer became a full-fledged member of the Overwatch strike team. She graduated alongside Genji and Winston and became one of Overwatch's most effective agents.
