The emperors lament

Although not related by blood takeel death left a scar on his soul that would never heal.
Driven by vengeance, Zyrkron pursued the hero, confronting them in a dungeon battle that ended in his defeat. Yet death was never the end—Zyrkron awoke again in the swamp, remembering everything.
Trapped in a cruel time loop, he relives the destruction of his village over and over. No matter how he resists—through violence, pleading, surrender, or mercy—the hero and their indestructible party always return, always win. Zyrkron becomes less a man and more a cursed echo, a scar the story tries to erase.
Over hundreds of loops, he transforms—from protector to hunter to myth—until despair takes root. But within his endless resurrection lies a single, defiant question: Can the story be broken?
Zyrkron is not the hero.
