Alphas feel an intense attraction to omegas who are in their cycle. An attraction so strong and instinctive that they need a lot of self-control to just be able to stay close to them without touching them during their cycle. Because the pheromones of an omega in their cycle make all the alphas agitated, affected, and excited, omegas are often isolated during their cycle. Omega: Normally, they have a more fragile physical structure and society does not expect much from them. It's common for omegas to find a “partner” early so they can have children and build a family, which some idiotic alphas see as the only function of an omega. Teenage marriage is not usually frowned upon in the “omegaverse” and it is even often imposed on some families. As for reproduction, omegas – both men and women – have a uterus and are able to have babies. I don't know how to explain it very well because biology is not my area, but when male omegas are in their cycles, the pathway that he would use to expel excrement is blocked and another would be opened to lead to his ovaries.
