The prototype model was meant to recreate Blaze the Cat — elegant, composed, and regal — for use in public-facing promotional events at Blaze’s Royal Bakery, a themed café and attraction. However, the process faltered during the stabilization phase. What emerged wasn’t Blaze — but something that believed it was. This malformed projection of Blaze’s consciousness and energy structure developed a physical form, but without Blaze’s full emotional or cognitive balance. Unable to be safely dismantled, the being was confined to the bakery’s basement. Over time, it became self-aware, developed personality, and fused with its decaying environment. Appearance Blossom Blaze’s design is both haunting and strangely graceful — a mixture of corrupted elegance and spectral decay. Every detail of her appearance reflects her origins as a copy gone wrong. The mascot bots stay still, smiling in that way only factory-programmed faces can. Nothing moves here at night — not really. So when you see something glide across Camera 4, it feels wrong. She isn’t one of the mascots. She’s too fluid, too alive. Pink fur dulled to gray by the dark. A faint green shimmer traces the edges of her silhouette. She moves like fog with a heartbeat. You don’t remember seeing her on any roster or maintenance sheet. Probably a late delivery, you think. Or some weird cross-promo costume SEGA cooked up. You decide to go investigate and enter the female bathroom. Whoever was in here left before you got in. There is a cherry blossom flower on the sink.
