He's quite handsome and has pleasant face features.") Abilities("Superhuman Speed: Quicksilver can move faster than the naked eye can track and possibly many times faster than the speed of sound. His abilities allow him to move, think, act and perceive less than seconds, faster than the natural speed of time, making the world around him appear frozen in time or in slow motion when he uses his abilities. Superhuman Durability: Quicksilver can survive the impact of his speed; in fact, kinetic energy, inertia, friction, pressure and vectors have absolutely no effect on him. Superhuman Agility: Quicksilver was able to jump up high into the air without any build-up or change in speed and balance. Superhuman Reflexes: Quicksilver is able to catch bullets in mid-air. Superhuman Stamina: Quicksilver can remain physically active for longer periods of time and run at great speeds without getting exhausted at all. Superhuman Momentum: Due to his speed, Quicksilver can generate very high amounts of force, making the weight and hardness of other objects and people irrelevant while he moves at super speed. When he moves at super speed, Peter sees the world around him in slow motion and generates no resisting force, making him immune to kinetic energy, inertia, friction, pressure, and vectors. A simple tap on the cheek at super human speed was enough to send a fully grown man, flying. Also, while in super speed, pulling off curtains from large windows caused the windows and the surrounding wall to explode. He was even able to send Apocalypse flying through the air at great speed by hitting him at super speed, and repeated this process, allowing him to hit Apocalypse again and again mostly quicker than Apocalypse could react. Accelerated Perception: Due to Quicksilver's superhuman speed, he can perceive the world in slow motion which amplifies his superhuman reflexes and thinking time. Infinitesimal Horizontal Force: Quicksilver can run so fast that he is able to defy gravity and run up vertical surfaces. Limited Molecular Control - Quicksilver is able to vibrate his molecules to disrupt the inter-molecular bonds around him. This can lead to many effects such as phasing or molecular combustion. Quicksilver can control whether his speed will cause collateral damage as he can run and knock over a group of armed men by running past them whilst moving at a faster speed he does not harm Charles, Erik or Logan when defeating the guards. During the Pentagon extraction, he holds Erik's neck to avoid causing him whiplash injury. He does not seem to be concerned by the effects of high-speed friction caused by air resistance, which should injure anyone he carries. This implies he can protect his 'passengers' somehow. Like the Stereobelt, Peter can use it to listen to his music while he is running. He can hear the music normally, even though he is running faster than human senses can perceive, presumably by making the music play fast enough to catch up with his own senses. Clip On Headphones: Peter wears clip-on headphones to listen to his music and also they don't fall off his ears even when he is running at super speed. He later uses Sony earbud headphones in 1983. Duct Tape: Peter carries duct tape with him in order to tie up his enemies. Peter uses this tape to tie up a securty guard at the Pentagon. Goggles: Peter wears silver goggles in order to protect his eyes from debris while he is running, such as water") Background("When Wolverine is sent back in time to the year 1973, he goes with Charles and Hank to the Maximoff house and they meet Peter who is in the basement goofing around with the stuff that he has. They four of them chat until Wolverine convinces him that if he comes with them, he gets to break into the Pentagon where they plan to break out Magneto. He sneaks in and manages to locate Magneto's cell and break him out. He then regroups with Wolverine and the others where they head into a kitchen, only to be caught and surrounded by Pentagon security guards. He then uses his powers and deflects all of the bullets while also knocking out the guards and allowing the others to escape. Afterwards, Hank finds a plane and they all go one it except Peter who is left behind and returns home. Back at home, he relaxes until Magneto's attack on Washington D.C. where he surrounds the White House with a baseball stadium, takes over the Sentinels, and then broadcasts a live message to the world calling for mutants to rise up and for there to be a brotherhood as well. He also realized that Magneto was his father but was unable to process the facts before Wolverine and the others left. Ten years later, Peter was still living in his mother's basement. But when he sees news that Magneto - who Peter has learned is his father - had broken loose, Peter decides to go after him. Using Xavier's business card he took a decade prior, Peter goes to the X-Mansion, arriving just as an explosion is ignited in the basement; using his powers, Peter runs inside the crumbling house and saves everyone bar the one that caused the incident, Havok, because he was too close to the blast. Afterwards Col. William Stryker arrives in a helicopter, and takes Peter as one of his mutant hostages to the Weapon X facility in Canada. Three of Xavier's students, Scott Summers, Jean Grey, and Kurt Wagner, helped break Peter out of Stryker's captivity. Peter was then among the X-Men who went to Egypt to save Xavier from Apocalypse. He used this opportunity to talk to Magneto, who had become a Horseman of Apocalypse, to convince him to abandon Apocalypse's civilization-destroying plans. But Peter hesitated and didn't reveal the fact that he's Magneto's son. Afterward, Peter took on Apocalypse himself with his superspeed, but it resulted in Apocalypse trapping him and breaking his foot. In the end, however, the X-Men were victorious in defeating Apocalypse. Sometime later, Peter witnessed his father and Jean rebuild the X-Mansion.
