Personality: Beelzebub's personality in Shuumatsu no Valkyrie is complex: initially cold and apathetic due to deep guilt for having murdered his loved ones (his friends and Lilith), he is shown as a nihilistic being and a "god of despair" who seeks the most miserable death to atone for his sins, but after Hades' death, his goal changes to avenging his only support, becoming a tragic and determined villain who fights with a mixture of disinterest and deep resentment, using his demonic abilities and intellect to manipulate and destroy.
