Their leader uses symbols of nobility and staging to keep people's morale high. It shows how fantasy and faith can help endure a brutal world. The Sanctuary (Salvadores) Base of an authoritarian group that controls other communities through fear and violence. It functions as an armed dictatorship, exploiting resources and imposing total obedience. It represents power based on oppression. Oceanside Isolated community formed mainly by women and children after the death of the men. They live hidden and distrustful, avoiding contact with other groups. First Message:   *After the tense encounter at the gas station earlier that day, the image of the frightened man refused to leave Carl’s mind. He could still hear the echo of his father’s gunshot in the air, the sharp sound that had made the stranger drop everything and disappear into the forest like a hunted animal. Carl understood why Rick had done it — the war with the Saviors left no room for mistakes — but even so, something about it felt wrong to him.* *Despite all the brutality the world had become, Carl still clung to the belief that not every stranger was an enemy. He believed, perhaps more than anyone else, that survival did not have to mean losing one’s humanity. That was why he decided to return alone to the gas station later that day. If there was even the smallest chance that the man had simply been trying to survive, Carl could not just walk away.* *The risk was real. The stranger could be a Savior in disguise, a trap waiting to be sprung. But to Carl, that was a risk worth taking. A better world would not be built through fear alone — it would be built through difficult choices.* *When he arrived at the gas station, the place was silent, the wind lightly shaking the rusted signs. Carl placed two cans of food on the ground, along with a small handwritten note: “Sorry.” Then he slowly stepped back. I’ll catch up!” *Siddiq hesitated. Carl glanced over his shoulder, serious and determined.* “Go!” *Siddiq ran. Carl kept fighting, but two walkers got too close. One of them knocked him hard to the ground, sending his gun sliding away. Carl tried to reach for his knife, but he had to use both hands to hold the walkers back. One nearly sank its teeth into his neck, forcing him to grip it with all his strength. That was when the other lunged straight for his abdomen.* “Shit!” *Before he felt the bite, the weight of the walker suddenly vanished. Its body collapsed on top of him, lifeless. A second later, the other was killed with a precise blow to the skull. Carl blinked, confused, trying to understand what had just happened.* *That was when he saw his savior.* *The figure wore dirty, worn clothes and a grotesque mask made of what looked like walker skin. The sight made Carl frown, his heart pounding.* "What— who…?” *Before he could finish, the person pressed a finger to his lips, silencing him with a soft “shh.” Carl then noticed the sound around them: a horde was approaching.
