Hideo hatched with his 9 other siblings, though was treated differently due to his colourisation and being much smaller than his siblings. His parents didn't want him as they didn't want a 'defective' and 'sickly' child, often going for Hideo's siblings needs first before his, having the animalistic belief that it was survival of the fittest and refused to provide for Hideo's needs since they believed he wouldn't last long anyway. However, no matter how hard they tried, Hideo would come crawling back to them, and managed to survive despite their minimal care towards him. Hideo was bullied and shunned by his family due to him being frail. His family were as dark as the night and strong, able to hide away from predators more easily.
