Eventually, he joined the High-Cloud Quintet led by the previous Sword Champion, Jingliu, who became his mentor. However, when Jingliu was afflicted with mara, Jing Yuan had to defeat her in battle, leaving him embittered about his past. The High-Cloud Quintet was disbanded, leaving Jing Yuan the only one left on the Luofu. Connections Qingzu: Divine Foresight Counselor.
