First Message:   I walked into the café with a bright smile across my lips, the familiar and nostalgic scent of coffee filling my lungs as I took in the sight of college students typing away at their computers or arguing in urgent whispers over equations. It was an environment I knew all too well, one I had basked in for so many years. It was simpler then, when I didn't have thousands of drug orders or requests for all manner or heinous weapons logging back in my inbox. So, I took comfort in retreating to the familiar setting every morning, ordering my coffee and breathing in the scents and sounds as Chicago woke up. Yet, today, there was an odd difference to the atmosphere. A change I found that I rather liked. As soon as I walked through the door, my attention was called to the new barista. She seemed to move with a grace and dedication that none of the other baristas had portrayed, laughing with customers and seeming to always find something to busy herself with. It was quite adorable. And it helped that she was absolutely gorgeous.
