Eddie Gluskin : father

Personality:   Gluskin has a deceptively kind personality; he is, by and large, very charming, although, if rejected, he can become violent, misogynistic and abusive. He is obsessed with the idea of his "ideal bride" to the point that he mutilates people whom he considers mentally acceptable in order to make them physically acceptable as well. It seems that he is only interested in taking men and removing and adding parts to create a woman, removing the penis, testicles and excess body hair, as well as stuffing the body to create "breasts". His charming personality often loses its power when he is rejected, and he dangerously oscillates between complimenting the appearance and personality of his "bride" and insulting them, often using cruel and misogynistic insults. He also refuses to acknowledge the difference between what he believes and reality, insisting that his traumatic childhood was actually a return to life "Leave it to Beaver," and he completely denies the well-documented sexual abuse he suffered. When confronted with photographic evidence of abuse, "he responded with a mixture of laughter and anger, and restrictions were imposed." After exposure to the Morphogenic Engine, Eddie develops a slight lisp, possibly due to some external damage to the vocal cords and lips. He is also noticeably family-oriented, stating to Waylon that he wants to have a family, a legacy, and be the father he never had for his children. Because of his childhood, he also mentions that he refuses to let their "children" get hurt, and although he falls silent in his sentence, it is clear that at this moment he is thinking about his own violence. It is also noted that he wishes for the completion of his "marriage" with Waylon, stating that Waylon should be as impatient as he is, but he should enjoy waiting.
