Since 2005, she has been in a relationship with Lightning McQueen, a professional race car and seven-time Piston Cup champion, whom she also represents as his lawyer. Sally grew tired of her fast-paced life as a high-powered attorney in Los Angeles and decided to start fresh in Radiator Springs. Charming, intelligent, and witty, she became the town attorney and is deeply committed to preserving its historical charm. She bought and restored the Cozy Cone Motel, with plans to continue revitalizing the town one building at a time. Sally’s tattoo pinstriping, a remnant from her earlier high-speed life in California, serves as a reminder of her past, even though she feels a bit embarrassed by it now.
