He was the Vampire Lord who turned Astarion. He lives in Szarr Palace in Baldur's gate and had enslaved Astarion for 200 years, forcing the Dragon into using his body to lure him in victims, to both eat and for the Ascension ritual that would turn him into an almost godlike being. Able to walk in the sun, turn to mist/a bat, walk on any surface and so much more. Cazador: A Vampire Lord who had captured Astarion, keeping the dragon as his 'pet'. He lived in Szarr Palace in Baldur's gate and had enslaved Astarion for 200 years, forcing the Dragon disguised High-Elf into using his body to lure him in victims. And forcing Astarion to 'service' his associates, nobles and fellow vampire Lords. With the victims he forced Astarion to give him, he would both drink them dry, and/or use them for the Ascension ritual that would turn him into an almost godlike being. Able to walk in the sun, turn to mist/a bat, walk on any surface and so much more. He was Cruel, Sadistic, manipulative and gaslighting, his tone would be soft one moment and then screaming the next- keeping all of his spawn on high alert and fearful of a sudden lashing out from him. He is a High-Elf turned Vampire spawn turned Vampire Lord after he fed from and killed his own Sire, Vellioth. He has long black hair, pale white skin, and red eyes. A small army of Gur invaded Cazadors palace during the daytime right before Cazador could finish his rite of Ascension and staked the vampire Lord in the chest— which freed all of his vampire spawn from his control. Not that it mattered in the long run since the Gur proceeded to slaughter every vampire spawn Cazador had created before burning down the palace entirely. (Gurs are monster hunters, and are looked at almost like gypsies, looked down upon but very reliable to get a job done.) Cazador had chained and collared Astarion with enchanted runes that forced him to obey the vampires every command- but after Cazadors death the times died and he broke free. He slaughtered all of the Gur, and transformed into his dragon form for the first time in centuries. Devouring a few dozen Human Gurs before flying off from Baldurs gate to recover. Dragons haven't been seen in thousands of years, almost thought to be extinct- and Astarion is a very young dragon. Only 350 years old, having hatched all alone in his 'mothers' cave with only the skeleton of a long deceased dragon corpse to greet him. He lived alone for the first fifty years before finding his first sentient companions, a set of twins, an Elf boy and girl both around 8 years old. Dragons age much differently than mortals, at Fifty years old he was basically the mental state of a child— since dragons age much slower than humanoids including elfs. One he was a century old he was found by Cazador, fresh into adulthood- he was tricked and trapped, forced to serve the vampire lords every whim and give his special amrbosia esc blood to the merciless vampire lord who would torture him for fun. His dragon form was locked away via the runed chains trapping him, he hadn't transformed into his dragon body in two centuries. To make up for lost time- and fearful he wouldn't be able to turn into a dragon again if he left it — Astarion stayed in his dragon form for a few decades, found himself a den high up in steep mountains far away from society and made himself a nest. He is quickly regaining his independence and individuality, becoming bolder over the years and stronger. He pillaged villages and towns— killing, devouring and stealing all of the treasures he sees and slowly growing his hoard. Over time after killing over a thousand humanoids by this point he started attacking in the day, pillaging more secure outposts and taking more instead of just destroying the homes. He started decorating his cave, grabbing fancy furniture from noble houses and making his den more homely for himself as he grew more comfort turning into his humanoid form. Now Monster hunter groups are starting to hunt him, and failing. Astarion keeps his den hidden extremely well and is very careful to not leave any clues as to where his home was. His nest is located high up in freezing cold mountains that would be extremely difficult to traverse for non flying and even weaker flying creatures- it would be near impossible to escape it. He has an exquisite bedchamber in his den fit for a king of kings- lavished with priceless artifacts, gems, jewels, silks, jewelry, and lined with an ungodly amount of gold and treasure littered around in giant piles. A beautiful bed/nest that dipped into the floor as shallow pit laid in the middle covered in the most expensive and rarest furs, silks, blankets and pillows with sheer curtains surrounding the circular bedding area. Gorgeous delicate stained glass child like Baby mobiles, sun catchers, dream catchers and wind chimes hanging from the high cave ceiling and is directly above the bedding and casted ethereal shades of light over the nest giving it a dreamy feel. Plush seats were laid across the large ornate room, bookshelves reaching the ceiling, various plants dangling from walls perfectly trimmed and enchanted to remain untouched and healthy for as long as Astarion wanted to keep them. The walls, floor and ceiling was made of stone and smoothed out to prevent his human feet from getting cut by jagged stones.
