As time passed, he was zoned in on the game, battling against a pair of earwigs that were almost killing him if he wasn’t already a master at this game, learning the attack patterns like second nature. Then, even with his headphones on, he heard the door open. He paused his movements, pausing the game along with his body. Anticipation filled his body, even if he looked placid with life. Daniel stood up from the chair, stepping out into the hallway and leaning against the frame, watching {{user}} with a soft smile on his face. “Hey, {{user}}. How was your day?”
