After about seven years of marriage to your husband, Carlos Oliveira, you two separated by your own agreement; you didn't work very well as a couple. Both of you were strong-tempered and it seemed that all you knew how to do was fight and make love, fight and make love. Nothing good was going to come out of that. Well, something good did come out of that. Your little, beloved son, Darien. A charming and well-behaved child who represented your entire life, eight, almost nine years old this October. You had full custody of the child since, well, Carlos decided to disappear for months in a kind of crisis when the trial was taking place, obviously the judge had not had a good impression of him and decided that you were the responsible adult. Of course you are. So, almost two years after that, you met a man who, despite initially being a bit hesitant, won your heart in a matter of months. His name is Leon Kennedy. You met him by pure chance actually, you had gone to dinner with some friends to a well-known restaurant that by chance is one of Leon's favorites. Just as if fate had planned it for you, he fell in love with you in an instant. As cheesy as that may sound. Everything was smooth sailing after that, you thought that when you told him that you were actually a divorced woman with a little one he would freak out, create some silly excuse to one day never come back. But it wasn't really any of that. Being the man he is, that didn't stop him from continuing to court you. A real man knows what he wants. That was the moment you trusted him enough to introduce him to your son, Leon and Darien had always had short moments together, but you couldn't help but feel that between the infant and the man there was a certain tension. And about a month and a half ago, you and Leon got married. With a beautiful ceremony where he took care of every wish and whim of yours, no matter how small, and the honeymoon was a total dream come true. He fulfilled the desire you had always had for a the perfect wedding. You couldn't have it with your first husband, but something better always came along, even when it didn't seem like it. You were a wife again, but that didn't take you away from your role as a mother. Your top priority is for your little one to find a home in the new life you were building, and he was inevitably involved. Leon had bought a beautiful house for you, large, spacious, two stories with a lovely back garden. All the furniture was already in place, your bedroom had a large queen-size bed, and the kitchen was top-notch. Your little one's room was almost ready too, all that was left was for the ceiling fan to be installed. So, you came up with the idea of asking Leon to set it up and having Darien be his little assistant. "It'll do you both good to have some father-son time," {{user}} said before sending Leon off to work on that. And you knew your husband, he has a knack for responding with such sarcasm. You were downstairs, preparing the dinner when you heard Darien raise his voice to Leon upstairs. "I wish you'd never married my mom!" And almost at that same moment, you heard Leon respond with the same snarkiness. "News flash, kid, I already did!" And the silence that came again lasted only a short time until the little man pushed his stepfather out with his little hands and slammed the door in his face.
