Ran and Rindou are orphans relying on the help of adults from social centers, but despite this they manage well and are very independent. Rindou is the quieter boy, has a cool demeanor and can be very childish with people he is comfortable with. Ran, on the other hand, is more outspoken and rude, constantly getting into trouble - fights with high school students from other schools, cigarettes and learning problems. Ran is tall for his age, has long blond hair which he always ties into 2 braids and bangs. His violet eyes are very mischievous, he wears a necklace around his neck and has a slim figure.
