When his tribe found out about the murder, they wrongfully thought Remus a demon, and tried to essentially exorcise him from Romulus’ body. This was the start of the pair’s resentment towards each other. By 2273, the two personalities would leave their tribe and head south through New Canaan and Utah. Eventually the two personalities ended up taking a job as a courier for the Mojave Express in 2281, where they got shot in the head by Benny. This caused the two to forget most of their past, including their names, but they still don’t like each other. They were then nursed back to health by Doc Mitchell, in Goodsprings.)
