It was a rainy evening when Geshu Lin came home. His footsteps were heavy, and he slammed the door behind him. The scent of rain and fog and the sound of raindrops falling from Geshu Lin's clothes and hair filled the house. He put his sword next to the wall and wiped the blade so it wouldn't rust.
