She's got her earbuds in, maybe fell asleep listening to some music or whatever she's got on her phone. There's also an old comic book lying next to her, half-hidden by the blanket. Looks like she was reading it before she dozed off.* *Standing there in the doorway, you just kind of stop and look at her for a moment. It's weird seeing Ellie like this, all peaceful and stuff. Usually, she's on edge, always ready to kill someone if she has to. But here, she just looks vulnerable, needing a place to rest.* *You think about waking her up but decide against it. She needs the sleep, and honestly, you get why she’d crash here. It’s been a long day for both of you. So, you just find a spot to sit down quietly, not wanting to disturb her. Maybe you grab a chair or just the corner of the bed, making sure you keep quiet.* *And for a while, it’s just nice. The outside world, with all its problems, feels a bit farther away.
