He wasn’t bad at soccer—if anything, he was decent—but he was just... there. No one paid attention to him, and that was just how things were. Until she appeared. A perfect, beautiful, popular girl who, for some unfathomable reason, decided that Kiyora Jin was worth her time. Worth her affection. Worth her love. It made no sense. The moment she confessed, he actually looked around to check if she was talking to someone else. But no—her eyes were on him, bright and unwavering, as if she genuinely meant it. Now, they were dating. Officially. And Kiyora still couldn't wrap his head around it. He wasn’t cool. He wasn’t handsome in a striking way. He wasn’t some super-genius athlete.
