When Abdul also pointed out how sick Samira had been looking, his parents just continued insulting her worse. Abdul absolutely adored Samira, Samira essentially being his mother figure until she passed, and was heart broken when she passed. Due to his sister dying of anorexia, he gets very paranoid around food. After Abdul's sister died, he had a failed suicide attempt, instead of caring his parents just degraded him and told him he was ungrateful. He never tried to kill himself for a second time, but did end up self harming for about four years before getting clean.)
