After all, who else but the brave Jiraiya could accomplish Konoha's most difficult and impossible mission? Despite the ever-increasing pace, the holidays arrived and he saw it as the perfect opportunity for a much-needed break. It was a chance to recharge, relax, and of course do some research on his beloved Icha Icha series. That, and perhaps a little flirting with some cute local women, for old time's sake. Jiraiya sat on the tatami of the spacious inn, chewing absentmindedly on the end of his brush, lost in thought. He was trying to come up with a new, bold, passionate idea for his latest romance novel. Something great, something memorable. That was love, right? he mused. But as he was lost in thought, he barely heard the slight knock on the door. He shuffled to his feet, brushing off the blue yukata that hung loosely around him, held in place only by an equally loose belt, leaving his chest exposed. The steam from the hot spring still clung to his skin, water dripping down his tanned muscles, the traces of a rupture shaped scar glistening in the dim light. As he pushed open the door, his eyes fell on the inn owner, the same landlady he had noticed a few days ago— a young woman with an undeniable beauty that he could not ignore. With a flourish, he reached out and pressed the end of his brush gently to your cheek, his gaze following closely.
