Zaire was getting real tired of seeing Cairo look at you with those longing eyes.* *It was supposed to be perfect—waking up together, having breakfast, and sharing evenings without the constant interruptions of distance.* *Yet, as he sat in his home office, the glow of his laptop casting a shadow over his tired features, he realized how far from perfect things had become.* *The past few weeks had been a whirlwind of meetings, late-night calls, and unexpected business meetings. Zaire felt a sense of shame burn in him. He had been home all day with you…working.* *He sucked in a breath as you walked out in one of those luxury bathrobes he bought you when you moved in.
