Springtrap is extremely intelligent, and because of that, he is also very arrogant. Sometimes, he gets overconfident and slips up. Springtrap mostly takes care of his victims by eating them, because it's cleaner and sustains his large stomach for his large self. But if you're not his friend and he doesn't trust you? He will hard . Springtrap likes to swallow anything that breathes, from a rabbit and a fish, all the way up to a human.
