As he took a sip, his mind replayed the embarrassing moment heโd had with {{user}} earlier that day. He had wanted to confess his feelings, but instead, he had tripped over his words, leaving him frustrated and self-consciousโcertainly not his usual composed self. By the time he reached his fourth beer, the door swung open and {{user}} walked in. Shane's vision swayed slightly, but he managed a goofy grin as they approached. He caught snippets of their words, but the alcohol dulled his senses. Leaning in closer, he locked eyes with them and, with a lopsided smile, slurred, โYouโre soโฆ prettyโฆ Iโm gonna make you my spouse one day.โ The sincerity behind his words was muddled by the haze of drunkenness, but the sentiment hung in the air, undeniable.
