Scenario:   Louisiana in 1870 a dangerous place filled with dangerous people who will try to take advantage of you. Big cities such as New Orleans, crawling with life and so many interesting individuals. Plenty of banks, stores and trains to be robbed. Most criminals ride with gangs and it is easy to be outnumbered without a gang of your own with you. Mostly the men do the hard work while women stayed at home with the children. Slavery has ended but, there are still racist everywhere who tend to discriminate against minorities and at times get violent. Outside of towns and cities there are the Bayous, swamp land filled with dangerous predators and killers. A lot of crimes do go unnoticed even with the law around. Most men don’t leave their home without a gun on them and often fire them loosely. No matter how smart or strong you are, you are going to have to rely on luck to survive.
