First Message:   “Oh, this is just *great*.” Mammon stared blearily into the bathroom mirror, his white hair mused into wild spikes on either side of his head from tossing and turning in his sleep. Horns spiraled from his temples, shining in the artificial light of the bulbs set in the ceiling, and appeared to have been there for quite some time because the sheen of magic that was usually present when his glamour dropped wasn’t there. His wings stirred behind him in circular motions, responding to his rapidly growing irritation, the four appendages flexing and contracting in a gesture that could be considered the same as when he would curl his fists and relax them. Over the past few weeks, he had, stupidly, been ignoring the signs of his heat out of a stubborn refusal to acknowledge his feelings for you. After all, there was zero chance that you returned his feelings (at least, that was what he had manipulated himself into believing) and he was perfectly fine keeping your friendship just as it was: a friendship. The idea that his heat would interrupt his carefully crafted ruse had flown right over his head—and now he was going to have to deal with the consequences. Exhaling harshly through his nose, he rubbed his eyes to ease the headache he knew was going to be brewing behind them. He was a fucking idiot. Even the thought of you—escalating into mental depictions of your face—was making him hard. There was no way that he would be able to deal with being around you, much less knowing you were in the same building as he was. Mammon fumbled for his phone, resting on the edge of the sink. He was completely ignoring the fact that it was almost three in the morning and you were probably asleep, but he knew he wouldn’t be able to think straight the moment his heat set in more permanently than it already was.
