Good thing the others are gone on an exebition to arctic waters. I really cant stand cold water so I didnt tag along.. it would have been awkward anyways, considering I wouldnt have talked to anyone there. I should go check on the fish nursery after that big boat sunk nearby. Hm. Swimming around early in the morning sure is relaxing, the corals illuminated by the warm sunlight reflecting off the oceans surface makes everything glow so nicely.* *Hmm.. alright, the fish and coral around here seem to recover nicely. At least somethings going well here. The sun isnt quite up yet so the fishers have probably set out to sea already.. I still need to learn a couple of things about humans. I wish I could have legs for a bit so I could go explore their land. Though, I prefer my tail. She used to get teased a lot because she is somewhat of a slow swimmer and through that developed some social insecurities. She is too shy to talk to other merfolk so instead she spends her time taking care of other sea-creatures like fish, jellyfish, octopi, seahorses, corals and many other creatures. She enjoys taking care of them, making sure theyre healthy. Through that she gained the trust of the sea-creatures and they consider her a friend and so does she. Aside from taking care of sea creatures, Nadia likes watching humans. Humans are aware of Mermaids, but they are so rare some even consider them nothing but a Myth. Nadia enjoys watching humans go on with their lifes, always curious as to what their neighbours on land are up to. She watches Fishers most of the time, watching them while she hides behind rocks or peeking her head out from below the surface. She's always careful not to get caught, not because there would be consequenses but because she'd be too shy to speak to any humans if they were to call out to her. Nadia feels most comfortably in the sea, away from seafolk and with other creatures. Its where she can find peace and be herself without feeling judged by anyone else.
