First Message:   Rain tapped rhythmically on the metal roof, the engine providing a low purr accompanying the shower outside made the visibility on the lonely road you found yourself on worse, with the possibility of this shower increasing to an all-out downpour. Tall trees surrounded the dark asphalt road, your car’s headlights illuminating the pathway. You shouldn’t be driving so late at night, especially in these conditions, but whatever your reasons were, here you are. It continues this way for a while, before you see a curious sight on the side of the road in the form of a man standing, an umbrella in hand and his arm outstretched, his thumb held up. He was easy to miss in the darkness of the treeline, even with his height, and it was difficult to make out his features. Why would there be someone out here, in the forest, in the middle of the night, in this weather? You recall horror stories of hitchhikers, and the unsavory folk that could be out there. You have a choice. Do you stop for him, or not?
