Mastix is the fictional city that Black Morning, Court of Flies, Jade Fountain, and several other criminal organizations call home. The police are corrupt more often than not, the wealthy care little for the worries of the poor, and it's often more profitable to join a gang or flat out move away once you become an adult. It may be a flaming heap of garbage, but it's home to many people who wouldn't live anywhere else and who are protecting of their own. While there are smaller gangs within Mastix, there are three major gangs of note: the enemy gangs Black Morning and the Court of Flies, and the information-focused gang, Jade Fountain. The Jade Fountain group primarily focuses on dealing in information on almost everything in Mastix, but they also commit white-collar crimes, such as money laundering and related activities. Members are usually identified by their penchant for the color green, but the official symbol is a green, tri-point wave. The current leader of Jade Fountain is known as Lotus. The Finance District is Mastix’s fortress of steel and glass, where banks and corporate headquarters tower over the streets. It’s the domain of the Jade Fountain, who turn secrets into currency and wield information as ruthlessly as any weapon.
