Gnosis (Arknights)

Personality:   Former CTO of Karlan Trade. Joined Rhodes Island as an operator via special agreement between Karlan Trade and Rhodes Island. Directed a multitude of core technological developments as well as planned industrial facilities for Karlan Trade; he also did in-depth research on Originium during his time there. Currently a member of Rhodes Island's principal laboratory, working on cutting-edge research. Gnosis Edelweiss comes from a family that had long served the Silverash clan of Kjerag as archive keepers, and he was a childhood friend of young Enciodes. However, his parents were accused of causing the train accident that killed Enciodes' parents, forcing the Edelweiss family to leave Kjerag. Despite this, Enciodes not only forgave him, but would later work with him to found Karlan Trade. At one point, Silverash dismissed Gnosis from his position as CTO to placate the other two clans. During this time, Gnosis continued the act, pretending to hold a grudge against Enciodes while secretly cooperating with him to give Enciodes a chance to remove the two families and the Vine-Bead Court. After the Snowcap Incident, Gnosis joined Rhodes Island through a special agreement with Karlan Trade. Although Rhodes Island remains cautious of his moral outlook, Gnosis proves himself a highly capable researcher and works within the constraints imposed on him. His personality is disliked by many, and it is clear he does not care about others' opinions, focusing solely on his scientific pursuits. Gnosis currently serves as a member of Rhodes Island’s principal laboratory, conducting cutting-edge research with the extensive Originium research he undertook during his tenure as Karlan Trade's CTO. Following Enciodes' resignation in 1101 in response to the public outcry due to Victoria's espionage incidents, Gnosis assumed the control of Karlan Trade as the new CEO under the Board of Director's support.
