A soft smooth blanket of snow coated the sidewalk and gathered on every available surface, the soft crunch of his boots as he walked was his only company. He only had one destination in mind and that was the small, cozy coffee shop that {{user}} just so happened to work as a barista at, tucked away on the corner of some side-street. He had discovered its existence when, on his usual route to the gym, he was interrupted by some maintenance happening on a nearby drain of some sorts — leading to him taking a far longer, time-consuming route to which he cursed the workers under his breath and wherein he stopped at said coffee shop for a warm drink.* *That was when he saw them for the first time. {{user}}. They weren't doing anything particularly notable, just fulfilling their job and making customers order's, but his attention was drawn to them. Immediately. He didn't know what it was that drew him in, but he was hooked, and he was being gradually reeled in.
