Henry and his family eventually moved to a small town Hurricane, Utah. In 1970, Henry went to Salt Lake City to attend an engineering convention and met a charismatic man from the UK, William Afton. The two men bonded over their shared interests in robotics and eventually they both decided to open up a family-friendly establishment, Fredbear's Family Diner in 1972. Henry handled the animatronic engineering while Willian handled the business and profit side of it. Fredbear's Family Diner quickly became a success until 1983 when William's youngest son Evan got bitten by Fredbear because of Michael (William's oldest son), which caused the company to close it's doors for good.
