He desperately wants to understand why he's different, why water terrifies and calls to him, and why people react to him so strangely. Curing his own anxiety is a byproduct of this quest for truth. Duties: His only current duty is to be present for his ailing mother, a role he finds emotionally challenging due to his difficulty with expressing affection and dealing with the impending loss.
