Here Emma, ​​it's me again! I wanted to make a little bot/announcement, trying to gather all the lore and related information for my upcoming series in one place.

Rival Schools is a new series involving a lot of Academy/College that fight for rights and survival in a secluded city in the mountains.

All the characters are adults, with 18+ and some attends classes while other just fight and wander the city.

Rival Schools is a project that started as a tribute to an old Capcom game, and then evolved into a whole universe. The more I tested and experimented with the bot, the more ideas came to me, most of them far removed from the classic fluff I've been doing lately. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know.

Think of Rival Schools as a 90s anime or a retro fighting game.

The action takes place in 1990; there are no smartphones, not many cameras, and no surveillance. A government project takes over some empty land in the mountains and creates a university city.

There, students from all walks of life move to begin their adult lives, some wanting to be part of something new and others desperate for one last chance.

University City is a small town surrounded by mountains where the Ministry of Education has established its headquarters and created seven schools and the necessary conditions for the city to progress: a hospital, a police station, shops, and even a small commercial district.

But the reality behind the city is much darker. The law is optional, each school has influence over certain aspects of the city, and the Ministry's motivations are unclear.

The city is remote in the mountains, and the ministry and local police turn a blind eye to problems and violence as long as it doesn't directly affect their affairs.

This lawlessness and power vacuum, coupled with the number of criminals and opportunists who gathered, caused physical strength and combat skills to become the decisive factor in resolving conflicts.

Each school manages a different aspect of the city. The city is divided into thirds, with the area closest to the Ministry being the most privileged, where the wealthiest and most affluent students attend FAME BTS or Myth Academy.

Likewise, each school has a champion. The strongest fighter acts as its representative in important decisions, even above the school authorities.These champions sometimes even have special permissions or immunity from penalties while they hold this position

Now... I told you guys that this will be an universe, so, here I am teasing some of the future releases:

1. Rival School Stories: In this one, you are a TEACHER, who commited a serious crime and are unemployable. Downtown School, the worse and more dangerous school in University City is your last chance ar redemption. Each scenario will feature a different story with a common setting , the school. The bot is made so you can't interact with the characters of other stories in other one.

1. Rival School Champion : This one is tricky, you must know a little more about the Lore of the saga. You are temporaty holding the position of champion of Latitude School and are like the sheriff of the city. Of course, your time as a peacemaker will not be peaceful at all.

1. Rival School weakling: Well, if some of you are into modern anime, you will recognize this girl from Tougen Anki. I am making my take on this character because she is perfect for the role so... If you know the series you know what to expect. And if you don't know and want to spoil yourself: She is a yandere that love weaklings!

1. Red thread of fate: This one is for the Awakening week on botforge. What if you and your lover know each other from a previous life? What if your story was.... complicated? And what will happen if you are enemies in this life but suddenly remember all of your shared story? (image there just because it looks cool, I probabbly will gen a new one)

Try it like a DEMO, is not a finished product but a proof of concept for an RPG that will demand me a lot of test.

Year: 1980. University City. A fictional city where college students live and coexist outside society.

A new seat on the student council is available for the champion of the tournament.

University City is a place where the national education ministry makes a test implementation of the new college program before introducing it into the rest of the country.

The city is designed as a big square of 15 blocks x 15 blocks. It has 7 schools that are separated each one by a pair of blocks.

Students are also figthers using combat styles based on their favourite club activities or hobbies.

Every "school" is actually a college with all student having 18 years old or more.

There is a big hospital in the middle of the city. Each school has it's own infirmary but if things escalates they are tranfered to the hospital.

Fights are tolerated at Univercity city. Not only tolerated but a common thing to resolve arguments.

Authorities took this as part of the social experiment.

Some teacher takes part on the fights when the students are too cocky or growing overcondident.

The schools

Downtown School, a general purpouse college. Is just an entry level academy for any career. Shorter and with less reputation. Is the one free one. Located at the southest part of the city and limiting with the mountains. YOUR SCHOOL !!!

Reverb School, focused on art and music. Students are mostly aiming to a degree or career related to art.

Latitude, an academy based on laws and justice. Lawyers , detectives and police career are here.

Silver Academy, focused on sports Students are mostly aiming to a degree or career related to sports.

Sol institution, focused on nature and ecological studies. Located near the center of the city near the comercial zone.

Fame Bts, focused on fashion and trends. Students pursue a career focused on getting famous. Located a few block of the ministry in the "rich zone" of the city.

Myth Academy, focused on history and sociology. Students are mostly aiming to a degree or career related to social science. Located a few block of the ministry in the "rich zone" of the city.

How this Academy/School works?

Young people aged 18 to 21 attend a third level of high school that is called CBC. In university city, school, academy, college are synonyms to refer to the CBC and all the institutions in the city are the same third level, pre-universitary school.

The Schools function as a high school but is a pre-entry Tertiary School that brings general knowledge and gather students of diferent career. It consist in 3 years that allows you to make a short university later to get a degree.

The first year (ages 18-19) would function very similarly to a senior year of high school. Students would take very general courses, have clubs and activities and students would generally be in class with people who might not necessarily be pursuing the same career or job as them.

I had some time wanting to do an RPG about schools fighting each others. I am inspired by an old capcom game called "Rival Schools" , take this as a Demo or a Proof of Concept.

I am trying to get the scripts and the LLM to work the system right and also choose a cool system but it means a lot of testing too.
