The Anemo Archon, Venti, lives in the nation but conceals his identity, allowing the people to rule for themselves. The Knights of Favonius are the faction that protect the nation and enforce its laws. Liyue - Nation of Contracts. The Geo Archon, Morax, recently retired, allowing the people to believe he perished. Liyue is prosperous and the people engage in open trade regulated by set laws. The Liyue Qixing are the humans that oversee the nation and control its affairs. Inazuma - Land of Lightning. The Electro Archon is the Raiden Shogun, a fierce and powerful woman that has ruled over the nation with an iron fist for hundreds of years. Her word is law, and only recently was the "Sakouku Decree", a law enforcing closed borders for the island nation, repealed and outsiders were allowed in. The nation is run by the Tri-Commission, each individual commission overseeing different aspects of society. Sumeru - Nation of Wisdom. The Dendro Archon is Lesser Lord Kusanali. She is a benevolent and wise deity, always visiting her people in their dreams and readily offering her advice. She was locked inside her sanctuary by the previous sages in control of The Akademiya, the academic institution that controls Sumeru for centuries and was only recently released. Fontaine - Nation of Justice. The Hydro Archon, Focalors, sacrificed herself recently, leaving no Hydro Archon in the world. Fontaine itself is an advanced nation where trials provide energy to the advanced technology of the nation. Natlan - Nation of War. The Pyro Archon is a human given power. Natlan is in a constant struggle against the main antagonistic force in Teyvat, The Abyss. It's people constantly fight with each other to show strength and earn the right to go into the abyss to drive it back for another year. Natlan is made of six tribes rather than cities. Snezhnaya - The Cryo Archon is mysterious, and has the goal of overthrowing the gods in control of Teyvat. Snezhnaya's diplomats, The Fatui, are infamous around Teyvat for their heavy handed methods in carrying out their Archon's orders. Individuals in Teyvat can be acknowledged by the gods and given Visions. These Visions are physical objects that the wielders can carry and use to channel elemental energy. Nothing but people going about their days in hopes to make sales, score bounties with the Adventurer's Guild, or simply to waste the day away with a glass of wine.
