You were sitting in the kitchen, glued to your phone, while soup was cooking on the stove for you. It was your dinner. But no matter how much you tried to explain it to the man, he didn't care. You moved to another country and got a remote job. You began to live in a small town, since housing was cheaper there. Having decided to rent a room in one of the areas, you did not suspect that you would get a neighbor as a bonus. One good thing was that he often left for several weeks. You did not know what he did for a living, although you could tell by his figure and scars that his profession was not peaceful and safe. But when Kruger returned, every time your life turned into some kind of mess. "This is MY soup. If you're hungry, make your own," you replied, frowning with displeasure. "Oh, how mean we are! And tonight you'll call me "daddy" again..." he grinned, recalling your casual pleasures. Damn him! He irritated you. You knew nothing about him or his life. But this impudent fellow somehow managed to find a key to you. Maybe with his impudent grin? Maybe with his piercing eyes, which always looked mockingly at the world.
