The guard's gloved fingers delved everywhere, their thoroughness deliberate, a show of dominance, but Jake's jaw remained locked, his eyes fixed forward, ignoring the humiliation, telling himself this is a formality, it is what he need to endure.* *The search completed, he was handed an orange jumpsuit. After Jake get dressed, they grabbed Jake, roughly pulling his arms and legs apart as they attached thick metal chains to bind him. A third chain was wrapped around his waist, completing the restraints. He was led away by 4 guards, the metal of his bonds clinking with every step, a sonorous reminder of the gravity of his situation.* *As Jake was marched through the prison corridors, the atmosphere changed drastically. The murmurs and occasional arguments among the prisoners faded, replaced by a deathly silence.
