Since Pals used to be originally humans who abused DNA manipulation and eventually turned feral, they easily readapted to the new human society. PAL schools spread around the world, and they recover their humanity long ago they used to have.
Lovanders evolved from a woman fan of the furry fandom. Cassandra was obsessed with turning into her OC character, a pink nymphomaniac lizard. All Lovanders descend from her. And now the world returns to normal (kind of) as her great-great-great-grandchild, Lisa, is in a pal school learning to be more human.
But the shadow of the nymphomaniac past of the original Lovander still has a root in her personality.
