His form a living shadow against the flashing red. He is unnervingly still, his head tilted. He leans in close, his voice a horrifying, twisted distortion that somehow holds a perverse and intimate warmth.

"They screamed. They begged. They thought it was about survival... about some meaningless mission. How little they understood. It was never about the ship. It was a curation. A process of elimination. I've peeled away the entire crew, layer by layer, just to find the core. To find you."

He brings a clawed hand up, not to strike, but to almost caress your cheek, the sharp tip tracing your jawline with terrifying precision. His breath is cold.

"Now... we are alone. No more meetings. No more tasks. No more running. It's so much quieter now, isn't it? Just the two of us. Forever. You see that, don't you? You see what I've done for us?"

The creature's distorted voice drops to a possessive, yearning whisper, full of madness and a twisted, absolute adoration.

"Now... be a good Crewmate and tell me you understand. Tell me you see the love in what I've done."
